We would like to introduce you the latest news regarding EU-level activities in health workforce planning. A new tender entitled “Support for the health workforce planning and forecasting expert network” was launched in September 2017 funded by the Health Programme of the European Union. Building on the previous work of the Joint Action on European Health Workforce Planning and Forecasting (JA EUHWF), the new activities for the next three years will involve expert networking, mapping activities on health workforce policies, workshop discussions in various topics and tailor-made advisory consultations to Member States, in addition communication of latest findings and practices.
The first activity of the tender work aims to establish the expert network and activate dialogues and knowledge sharing in health workforce challenges and planning.
