Cancer Nursing Education Framework was launched in May

On the 18th May – European Cancer Nursing Day (ECND) – the European Oncology Nursing Society has launched the new EONS Cancer Nursing Education Framework. This vital tool will help cancer nurses across Europe build knowledge and practical expertise to a recognised professional standard, measured by the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
ECND 2018 is calling for high-level recognition of the unique contribution of cancer nursing across Europe and focuses on the importance of education and training to support it as a recognised speciality.
The MEPs Against Cancer work together in order to improve cancer control and prevention in Europe, in the belief that European cooperation adds value to member state actions.
In order to address the challenges faced by the EU, MAC collaborate with the European Commission, the Council and other relevant organisations to reduce cancer incidence by 15% by 2020.
